President's Message 3-D is now worldwide

Welcome to the Lightwave Users Group — now totally online every month using AdobeConnect® as our "meeting place!" Plus, at each meeting we have one or more experienced Lightwave pros demostrate to a worldwide audience the secrets of using the vast resources of Lightwave for creating and animating 3-D objects.
As a specialist and author focused on Photoshop, I've been excited showing everybody how 3-D has come to photoshop bigger than ever with CS6.0 – and how it connects directly to Lightwave so you can make wireframe objects that will work in Photoshop. Of course, Lightwave from NewTek makes 3-D affordable and relatively easy to use.
Seems like everyone is going to be creating in 3-D – if not today then in the very near future because 3-D is here, now. As it gets easier with every new advance from Newtek and Adobe, our group makes it even easier to get into 3-D! Each month we learn the latest changes in Lightwave and in Photoshop where, in our meetings, our members and visiting speakers demonstrate the various new steps and tricks they've used with success (and what not to do as well)! And we have fun, too!
We encourage to you to join us every month for outstanding presentations by members and fun discussions on technique, "how did you do that?" questions and more. It's best to stop by early when you come to the meetings and have a chat with members while you enjoy refreshments.
